The Manzanas Don’t Fall Far From The Arboles

Maybe the least surprising thing we could tell you about a Boca v. River encounter was that violence broke out. Okay, mildly surprising that this tiff is between the teams’ U-14 sides. And they are putting the ‘fu’ into ‘futbol.

Stay class, Boca Juniors, Juniors.

We never tire of South America soccer violence but, man, we wish they wouldn’t teach their kids to hate at such an early age. They should totally wait until they are of adult age so they are mature enough to choose to hate.

  1. Nathaniel

I love the run-past-the-other-guy-and-kick dude at about the :31 mark.

Must have gone to the Deion Sanders’ School of American Football Tackling.

  2. Early on, there is a classic rookie’s mistake which is punished quite intently.

There is a swing and a miss, and the follow through must disorientate the kid, when out of nowhere, he gets a kick in the midriff.

I bet next time, he takes better aim.
