Michael Sheen as Ol' Big Ead.

Good afternoon folks!

As we announced last Monday, we are hosting a special screening of SONY Pictures Classics new film ‘The Damned United’.

The film depicts Brian Clough’s torrid 44 day reign as manager of Leeds United and stars Michael Sheen as the great man.

After the movie there will be the mother of all parties kindly provided by our sponsors DAB, Krusovice and Radeberger!

Wanna come? Of course you do. Well, we have tickets for 10 readers.

How do you get ‘em? You email us and tell us why you want to come, in exactly 15 words.

The ones that raise a titter in UF towers will win. You have until Sept 29th to get them in.

Email addy is over there to the right. Good luck blog fiends.

If I win a ticket, will you pay my airfare?

  2. ü75

    No. Well, maybe Ned will.

Assuming I can work out flight/hotel details, is there any way to get a ticket if I make it to NYC, or is the screening closed? IE: is winning one the only option?

  4. Norfolk Ned

Sorry Steve. I wish we could…But we can’t.

  5. Precious Roy

Think we should up the limit to 17 words in case someone wants to go haiku style.

  6. Steve

eh no prob, just thought I’d check. Would love to win one, but cost is prohibitive.

    @PR-
Are you one for using only one-syllable words on a haiku? ‘Cause that’s weird.

  10. Sarah

    Did not think I could
Write a poem with words so short
    But hey! Check this out.

    Weird maybe, umlaut, but doable.

Well played, college student with too much time on her hands (but impressive nonetheless).

  12. Sarah

It’s not that I have too much time on my hands. More like I use my available time really well…by, you know, not doing my homework.
