AC Milan Wants to Drink the USSF’s Milkshake

This intriguing bit of news just floated across our Twitter, courtesy of TIAS: Italian paper says AC Milan to make claim with USSF for pay of Gooch while hurt. “We can’t pay a player for six months if he can’t play.”

That doesn’t sound good. I mean, they paid him for six months already and didn’t play him. I’d be sympathetic to their cause if he were an integral part of their awful team, but in reality, he’s not. They use him sparingly at best (1 appearance in 10 official games this season), and never appeared likely to integrate him more fully.

Thoughts?

Hmmm…it almost appears like AC Milan is pissed at US soccer in general.

  2. We could pay them a small percentage of his salary-relative to the time he actually played for them!

I have this bowl of uneaten dicks sitting at my workspace… If only I could find a suitable place for it.

It took the Guardian article on this story just 3 paragraphs for it devolve into a Beckham story.

  6. What’s their excuse for Ronaldinho?

Can’t blame them for trying. Silvio is a bit short on cash these days.

A SuperClub trying to get blood from a stone. Nothing to see here…

The USSF could probably just send Berlusconi a few of Jersey’s finest hookers and make the whole thing go away.

I hope AC Milan doesn’t get lost while they play hide and go f**k yourself.

here’s a story that will blow up (relatively speaking) in the u.s. press, but is really quite normal in europe.
