Don’t They Say ‘Never Go Back?’

Back to the future.
After a sensational run of suckage, South Africa have decided to take a step back. Back to Carlos AlbertoParreia. The man who resigned from the South Africa job just a year ago. Now, Parreia is a bit of an expert at going back, he has ‘gone back’ no less than NINE times.
No really, C.A.P is a bit of a connoisseur at returning to the scene of the crime, going back to finish a job and loving himself some seconds. Oliver has nothing on this dude. Over the years C.A.P has managed 25 different teams. Brazil? 4 times, Fluminense? 4 times, The U.A.E? Twice, Saudi Arabia? Twice. Other teams include Sao Paulo, Corinthians, Fenerbache, Kuwait, Ghana, Valencia and even the New York/New Jersey Metro stars. Man, this is one dude who has been around the block. But is he any good?
Well, he won the World Cup in 94, Brazil’s 4th. He has also won the league title in Turkey, the Brazilian title and the Brazilian cup. He has taken 5 sides to the World Cup including the U.A.E, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Losing at the group stages all three times. South Africa clearly need to stop the current rot, they have lost 8 of their last 9 and drawn criticism from FIFA. Good luck Carlos, you’ll need it.
