  1. Derby games are fantastic. I hope we handle Stoke and then I can look forward to Everton in the CCup and then the nasty Red plague on Halloween

  2. Eladio

The Arsenal doesn’t play until tomorrow…so why am I up so early?

And why does Villa seem to be on every ESPN2 game this year?

  3. @Eladio – it’s been Burnley on ESPN2 up until now, so I would rather see Villa

  4. Eladio

Might as well get this out of the way.

    Brum 0-1 Sunderland
    Burnley 1-1 Wigan
    Hull 2-2 Pompey
    Spurs 1-0 Stoke
    Chelski 3-1 Blackburn

I loved the comment made on Football Weekly on Monday (I’m behind with my podcasts) concerning the Stoke/West Ham match. “Stoke is very good at playing bad football, and West Ham are very bad at playing good football.” I know Brown & Hart still lead the bookies on being the first sacked, but I think Zola needs to worry more than a bit.

  5. MrRedDevil

Wolves should have had a penalty. And Villa’s attacking is lacking thus far.

  6. and it’s a goal from I-Banged-A-Whore

  7. ooooh, obvious PK on Sidwell

  8. MrRedDevil

    That was a yawner.

  9. Good to see Ebanks-Blake finally get his first in the PL…kid was lights out last season in the Colaship.

  10. Norfolk Ned

    Plymouth 1 Ips**t 0. hahahahah

  11. Norfolk Ned

    Norwich 1 Swindon o
    Chrissy Martin! Get in.

  12. Norfolk Ned

Norwich fans taunting Danny Wilson, Swindon manager. Yesterday he said we had no bottle to push on this season. He is getting…

“Where’s yer bottle gone, where’s yer bottle gone” and “Wilson, whats the score, w=Wilson, Wilson, whats the score”.

  13. Newcastle 0 – Doncaster 1

The Magpies severe lack of depth is beginning to show…

  14. Norfolk Ned

OOOf, that will be 3 defeats in a row and no win in 5. I jinxed them with my colaship report.

  15. jjf3

Morning, everyone. Apparently, I needed some sleep, as I turned off the alarm and slept for 3 more hours. So much for footy in HD this morning.

Psyched for Rovers at the Bridge. Logic says we have no hope, but I’m liking our chances for some reason…

  16. With 3 of the starting back four (S.Taylor, Colocurli, Danny Simpson) out, along with Barton (injured) and Alan Smith (Suspended), your jinx is the least of my concerns.

  17. jjf3

Hell of a clearance by Beattie, looked good live, better on replay…

  18. Georger

This seems like a drastically dull day of games.

  19. @Georger – it certainly is so far

  20. Georger

Oh wow a two goal lead, I retract my entire statement.

  21. Ryan

Best games (in terms of entertainment) might be the MLS clusterf**k later in the day. Last day of the season, 6 teams fighting for 2 playoff spots.

  22. Norfolk Ned

@pradajames. You should not be behind with that line-up, injuries or no.

  23. Georger

I watched a good chunk of the Fire/Chivas(god I hate that name) game this week and it was kind of entertaining. The own goal that put Chicago in the playoffs was absolutely gorgeous. The field was soaked though, for a new stadium it had s**t drainage.

  24. Norfolk Ned

@Georger. Not as bad as Real Salt Lake. Where is your King Salt Lake City you retards.

  25. Georger

Every club college team throws “Real” in front of their name around these parts, it’s maddening.

  26. Norfolk Ned

    @Georger Its retarded.

  27. well thats an interesting turn of events with the OG

  28. Bongo are doing their best to give this one away

  29. Georger

    COME ON YOU POTTER BASTARDS

  30. jjf3

Off to the bar for Rovers-Scum.

  31. Precious Roy

    Ha ham Spurs.

    /Gunner’d

  32. phil

Object lesson in why people hate American Chelsea “fans:”

Show up to bar full of Spurs fans in Chelsea shirt. Cheer loudly and vociferously for Stoke. Leave before Chelsea-Blackburn match.

Oh, and Spurs were complete s**te today. Shades of the Ramos era, that.

  33. @ Norfolk Ned:

And they pulled it off…thanks to a missed pen and Kevin Nolan’s 8th goal (spit take) in injury time. 2-1 NUFC.

  34. Anonymous

    Is no one watching Rovers-Spartak?

Essien’s strike was brilliant, but shouldn’t have been a goal. It’s amazing to think Robinson used to be the England #1.

  35. ebullientfatalist

Ahhh, Bat-Tree-Green M n’ M, my old nemesis. I see you have returned.

  36. ebullientfatalist

Is there a Rovers supporter at the Bridge who ISN’T fat?

  37. ebullientfatalist

Jesus, Drogba. Make the most of it. So melodramatic.

  38. ebullientfatalist

It’s not that Rovers are terrible, its that Chelsea is able to convert on ever slight Blackburn miscue.

  39. ebullientfatalist

Ok, check that. Rover are terrible. 5-0.

  40. ebullientfatalist

    Essien is a singular talent.

  41. ebullientfatalist

I wonder how inebriated jjf3 is currently.

  42. MCR

    EF: I’m setting the over/under at .1.

  43. jjf3

@ef: answer is: not f**king enough. Holy crap, that was awful…
I would have been over-excited by a mere point. I have no idea why I woke up in a positive mood this morning, but that was a f**king pathetic, craptacular performance all around. I knew Dunn was important to our performance, but I did not realize that he was what single-handedly kept us from Derby-dom… F**K.

Oh, and MCR, I’d put a grand on over. Think more like .18 or .2…

I got two things from UT, and only one was a degree…
