Things I didn’t know before today:
1) The cities of Palermo and Liverpool are twinned in a sort of unofficial work-sharing agreement.
Now, that’s not the sort of thing that you’ll just find on the wiki-ebays, you have to do some digging and sussing to be able to put up such a claim. That is what I have done for you. Welcome back, me, after a broken computer caused a week of exile.
Palermo’s Fabrizio Miccoli was the victim of a house break-in this weekend while he and his team hosted Udinese for a match. Apparently supporting your man in person is not en vogue in Sicilia, because Miccoli’s wife was at home at the time. She was forced to part with €2k in cash and a ring worth about €20k (at least that’s what the insurance adjusters were told). Worse, this all happened in front of her kids.
What’s really troubling about all of this is that the Italian thieves had to get some help not only from the Scousers, but from thugs out of Barcelona as well. See, Liverpool thieves like to attack while the players are out on European adventures, while the Barcelona guys don’t care if you are home or not. Clearly, then, they had a hand in this as well.

I fly the Sicilian flag outside of my house, it scares the s**t out of people.
That looks like it belongs in a starf*cker video.
