The Good, The Bad, The WTF

When I first profiled a Bury shirt in this column, I lambasted it for having a sponsor graphic which hideously conflicted with the actual shirt.  That shirt was from the 1993-94 season.  So, imagine my surprise when, earlier today, I came across a shirt from four years later featuring the same sponsor, sans hideous graphic.  This time the shirt fails on its own (de)merits, instead of placing the blame on the sponsor.

Eerily and obviously reminiscent of this effort highlighted a couple of weeks back, this shirt will not let you forget which club it belongs to.  Unless you get the sponsor mixed up with the club, in which case the BFC stands for Birthdays Football Club.  That BFC would be highly popular with people like my wife (and Matt Pasco) who think that their birthdays should be national holidays.

(Treble points if you get the Matt Pasco reference.  On the internet–where nothing is obscure–I’m guessing this is.  Hell, I’ll let you pick out the next shirt if you know it.)

Beyond that, there’s not much else to add.  I would take the manufacturer to task, but can’t make out who it is.  Hopefully, they are out of business.  Gauging from that Sepultura-style logo, they didn’t survive the edgy ’90s.

“Did you mean: Matt Pascoe?” – that’s all I get from google. Oh and a guy on twitter who is “going to look for a house.”

    Come On You Baby Gunners!!!

Nope. Even knowing what I’m looking for, I can’t find a direct reference on the internet.
