Fantastical Passing By Zlatan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a polarizing player. Some think he is one of the best in the world and others see him as big game choker not deserving of world class recognition. Regardless of your point of view, it cannot be denied that Ibrahimovic produces some outstanding goals and deft footwork that amazes even the most jaded critic. For example, see this assist from Ibrahimovic to Pedro opening the scoring for Barcelona 4-2 victory against Mallorca this past Saturday.

Unbelievably bad defending, rolled right through the path of two defenders. Didn’t see this game, but I did see him miss an empty net and do nothing else against Kazan.

I’m not sure that was bad defending for three reasons. One, they had three defenders in his path to goal and he was moving away from them. His pass happened to hit them with pinpoint accuracy in no man’s land between the defenders as he was moving away from them with his back turned. Two, the one defender was marking Henry and had to stay on him. Three, the defense was trying to play an offside trap and Pedro timed his run perfectly to get on the end of the perfect pass as the defender tried to set the offside trap.

I can’t blame the defense much on that one. I can blame the manager of Liverpool though. It is surely his fault.

As a Barça fan, I was skeptical about Ibra coming. He’s proven me wrong so far, and I’m amazed at how much criticism he’s still getting in spite of leading the league in scoring so far and creating other goals on top of that. This pass was absolutely brilliant, I’m mesmerized every time I watch it again. Ibracadabra!

Some fans of Inra might hate me now but that pass was oure luck combined with Uber bad defending!!!!

If you think that was luck ? You haven’t seen Zlatan play in many games before this one, this is the reason why people love this footballer, he totally intended to do what he did. there is now british football player with his vision, not even near. The England manager say his the best in the world in his forward position. maybe it time for a bell to ring. He still can perform bad in some games, but don’t fool yourself.

    He is briliant !!!!
