Hire a bin-man and you get trash people. Scotland hired George Burley and the suckage continued. It did look as if the SFA were going to stick with the ex-Ipswich man, that was until this past weekend when Scotland were humbled 3-0 by Wales.
Burley had the Scots third in their World Cup group behind Holland and Norway and won just 3 games as manager of Scotland. He should, however, walk away with some wedge in his pocket as his contract was through 2012.
There is no word as yet if the Football Association of Scotland have a new man in mind. Just keep yer hands of Paul Lambert Scotland!

Steve Nicol worth a shout?
Could well be! Rangers’ Walter Smith and Dundee United’s Craig Levein are leading the way. It seems like a sweet deal in the short term; after all, what matches of consequence will the Scottish NT be playing until well after the World Cup?
