Foul-mouthed lout, middling manager, human coke vacuum and general train wreck Diego Maradona will be unable to watch his Argentine side draw into a group they will have a hard time getting out of as long as he is in charge.
If only it would be as sexy as the South Africans denying him a visa.
His post-Uruguayan qualification win tirade, where he invited the gathered journalists to suck on little Diego, earned him a nice two month ban from FIFA. That ban extends beyond just the touchline and includes all FIFA activities. So, were he to turn up in Cape Town for the World Cup draw, officials have assured him he wouldn’t be accredited.
So he taking his balls and staying home.
This is a massive error on FIFA’s part. The draw is three freaking hours long. God, that’s like five Jackass movies worth of time. There aren’t that many has-beens and bimbos to parade out, are there? But put the camera on Diego and something interesting is bound to come out of his mouth.
Oops. Well, nobody ever accused FIFA of being smart about stuff.

Surprisingly, I wasn’t able to find an actual soccer ball bowl. I’d think that would make for an excellent UF-branded product.
