Draw This, Suckas…
Yes, we are milking tomorrow’s World Cup draw for all it’s worth. Why do you ask?
Look if we took our eye off the shiny silver thing we’d be force to admit that Arsenal are on the verge of a collapse that would make Liverpool’s form this season seem enviable.
Plus it the World F**king Cup. Okay, it’s not literally. Although that might be far more entertaining to watch than the plain old World Cup. As long as all the participants were hot, that is. Even so, it might get a little creepy with the crowds and all. We digress.
Anyway, this is the most circuitous way of telling you that we’re having a contest. Yippee! Even better, we’re giving away something beside a UF t-shirt (anyone not won one yet? Feel free to purchase).
The contest? Guess the draw. The prize? Gear from our friends at Calle.
How does it work? Do your own draw with all 32 teams into eight groups. FIFA divided the pots up for you so you shouldn’t screw this up. They also have rules. It’s pretty straightforward, but if you’re a tard and need help you can click here. Whoever gets closest to the actual draw gets the prize.
And if you ever needed convincing about how awesome a giveaway this is, our own Norfolk Ned plays in Calle stuff all the time and loves it (Bigus, however, might have met his death in the stuff… we’re not sure). We’re also not sure how exactly we will determine “closest” but we will do so without shenanigans. Trust us.
Anyway contest is open until the draw begins. Put your guesses in the comments. Two things: 1) Anyone without South Africa in Group A is automatically getting disqualified (it’s already set, so if you screw that up you don’t deserver to win). 2) If there are duplicate entries, the first one in counts and the second is void. So if you have the same draw as someone else, do it again.
If I’m the judge, I might arbitrarily award bonus points to all who correctly include Group I.
