Not opening the mail doesn’t work for me either

Weymouth FC ply their trade way down in Conference South. They were relegated from the Conference proper just last season after a string of financial difficulties. Those difficulties led to the first team players walking out on the club last February. It’s safe to say that this is a club that is not likely to jump up into leage status anytime soon.

Especially when doing something as simple as opening the mail eludes the front office.  The Terras new ownership did not open said mail for approximately two months and, when they got around to doing so, founs that they owed creditors a good £35,000 more than they previously knew about. Oops.

The new guys are down with putting all the current mess on the previous chairmanship.  When announcing this debacle, they also let it be known that part of the 700k hole the club is in was caused by the fact that the club failed to send out invoices for anything, including players out on loan.  It would seem the mail system just is not kind to those in and around Weymouth FC, would it?

    Here’s a big F U to the mailbox rule.

Which has nothing to do with anything, but the mailbox rule can never get enough about-talkery.
