After much gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands, UEFA have finally locked in the Ukrainian host cities for 2012′s European Championship, despite massive logistical worries and infrastructure concerns about any Ukrainian city that’s not named Kyiv.
The lucky foursome will be Kyiv (who will also host the final), Lviv, Donetsk (who finally have a use for that shiny, new stadium), and Kharkiv. So after all the fears, all is well in Ukraine! Just goes to show what a little money can do.
