We tried like heck to dump Benjani over the summer, but couldn't find any takers. He makes twice of what he's reasonably worth, and I'm not so sure he'd even want to be transferred. Under the Sheikh, his only role is to show up at training with a smile on his face and half-arse it at reserve games. If he got a transfer, he'd actually to work hard. I'd say Tevez has gelled reasonably well; 9 goals in all competitions, including a recent run of nice form in the League. Maybe give RSC to Hull or whatever club Hughes ends up at as a gesture of goodwill?
