Jose Mourinho has been given the finger by the Cameroon FA. The African country is preparing for its ‘Nations Cup’ campaign which kicks off on the 13th of January. So what does this have to do with Jose Mourinho?
Well, the Inter Milan coach had requested that his star striker, Samuel Eto’o, be allowed to stay with Inter until after Wednesday’s Serie A game with Chievo, joining up with his countrymen on January the 7th instead of the 4th. Cameroon clearly didn’t want to set a precedent with Eto’o, sending a message to all of their players domestic teams that a late arrival is OK and therefore Jose’s request has been flatly denied.
Inter are now trying to sign Lazio contract rebel and Macedonian forward, Goran Pandev, to fill Eto’o's role at the San Siro until the Cameroon forward returns.
