Sir Alex Ferguson was unhappy at losing to Leeds yesterday, so he ran his mouth about the referee’s timekeeping. It’s a standard SAF practice: when we win, praise the officials, and when we lose, blame the bastards for everything.
It only makes sense that the FA would not punish him for his transgressions, despite that two-game suspended sentence currently blowing in the wind. Justice for all.

He didn’t even get the “Explain yourself” cop out that the FA usually gives.
I wonder what would happen if a referee walked up and backhanded SAF. He should receive a medal but somehow I don’t think that would happen.
Technically SAF’s comment was accurate. The announcers even called it “Fergie time” and suggested it should be 3, maybe 4. When it came in at 5 they had a nice chuckle.
It was insulting – to everyone except ManU.
