Didier Drogba will be returning to Chelsea sooner than expected after his Ivory Coast team crashed out of the competition yesterday, losing 3-2 to US and England World Cup opponents, Algeria, at the quarter final stage.
The other quarter final of the day saw Ghana beat host nation Angola 1-0.
Today sees Zambia take on Nigeria and Egypt play Cameroon to decide the semi-final match-ups.

Boy tough news for Arsenal… Chelsea will get Kalou and Drogba back AND Arsenal get Eboue back…
Either those highlights are slightly sped up, or there is no way in hell the USMNT is keeping up with that team’s speed.
And it looks like the Cameroonians will be coming back today as well.
This game has been weird as s**t….a direct goal from a corner….a goalkeeping mistake that ends in a goal, a backpass mistake that ends in a goal, a referee mistake that ends in a goal, and a more or less deserved red card, though the striker went down under literally no duress
