Patrick Vieira is wasting no time in getting back into the Premier League’s bad books. The 33 year-old Frenchman has been banned for 3 games for the kick to the goolies he delivered to Stoke City’s Glenn Whelan on Tuesday evening.
He will miss this weekend’s clash with Liverpool, the game with Chelsea and the FA Cup replay with Stoke. Whelan will be relived at that!

Also, so long as we’re talking City, Martin Petrov has been ruled out for a month with an injury (take that Gallagher), and Bellamy got into a huge bust-up with Mancini and didn’t come in for training yesterday.
So we’re in great shape for the weekend.
Still, I’m not getting my hopes up of Liverpool getting any really helpful result.
Dani Pacheco played well for the few minutes he was on yesterday, but ultimately that means he won’t even make the bench.

Honestly though, if this forces Mancini to play more of a true 4-4-2 and maybe give Ireland a look, I’m not too disappointed.
