  1. Liverpool now even 1-1.

    Other scores in progress
    Anderlecht 2-0 Bilbao
    Roma 1-0 Panathinaikos
    PSV 1-0 Hamburg
    Shakhtar 0-1 Fulham

  2. sven

3-1 Agg for Liverpool…. Masch, then Babel.

  3. Panathinaikos get 2 in Rome. Cisse and Ninis 4 minutes apart.

    1-2 there, 3-5 on agg.

  4. ben

FC Kobenhavn may be down 4-1 on agg to Marseille, but the 8th grader in me still wants an FCK shirt.

  5. Carragher with a flying, studs up tackle on some poor guys planted knee. No card.

  6. Just don’t get Umberto in the middle

  7. Panathinaikos with another before HT. Just call them Canada hockey. Cisse with his second, which puts him on a hat trick according to the Brits

  8. ben

Roma getting their asses kicked at home to a Greek side!

  9. HTs (aggregate)

    Anderlecht 2-0 (3-1) Bilbao
    Roma 1-3 (3-6) Panathinaikos
    Galatasaray 0-0 (1-1) Atletico Madrid
    Marseille 1-0 (4-1) Copenhagen
    PSV 2-0 (2-1) Hamburg
    Shakhtar 0-1 (1-3) Fulham
    Unirea 1-2 (1-3) Liverpool

You hear that Freddy Adu detractors (cough* Ned *cough)? Greece is a soccer power and one of their clubs is putting a beatdown on a top 3 Serie A side. And Adu is a scoring machine in that league.

Of course Doni has now let in five goals in less than two halves since their #1 went down. Make Fabianski look stellar.

  11. Gerrard adds one. 4-1 Agg

  12. Dane Butler

Random question; but I’m looking to buy an England kit, a Steven Gerrard one, and was wondering if anyone knew which number he is goingto wear. I’ve seen both number 4 and number 11 advertised.

  13. It may be worth waiting until the Egypt friendly to see what he’s wearing.

  14. Dane Butler

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. He has worn 11 in the recent past, but 4 seems like his loyal number. Thanks.

  15. Keith

Liverpool win and there are barely any comments. Hrmm.

  16. Georger

Sorry Keith, I was out and about.
