EBJT’s Bad Year Continues

Beep beep!

There is an old saying that “you make your own luck.” If that’s true then, well, John Terry had better try harder.

Last night, the former Engerland captain ran over a security guard as he was leaving Stamford Bridge.  Terry was driving his Range Rover very slowly as he was surrounded by paparazzi. The guard was knocked down and suffered a broken leg.

Reports say that John Terry drove home after the incident, although he apparently did not realize he had hit the guard. Terry then spoke to the police and underwent a breathalyzer test (?), and he phoned the guard to apologize as well.  Seeing as how this was not really his fault (the paparazzi went crazy because his wife was in the passenger seat), it’s hard to see how Terry receives any sort of punishment.  But, certainly more unwelcome news to add to the embarrassment dossier.

I hit someone with my car once and didn’t realize it, so I understand that it’s possible.

On top of his petulant behavior at the final whistle last night, the dossier of, “EBJT is a spoiled, whinny brat” continues to grow.

    Team Security Guard!

Hitting someone and not realizing it is one thing. Hitting them hard enough to break their leg and not notice it is something else. Sounds a bit fishy.

Well, he was driving a Range Rover. I suspect you could run over a deer in one of those and not notice.

I am really surprised that the headline didn’t read something like, “Terry Kills Security Guard with SUV”

The red media in England always jumps to conclusions on Chelsea before they find out what really happened.

He was driving 1-3 MPH and the person did not break their leg, only bruised. He also stated that it wasn’t JT’s fault because it was crowded. If you can’t move out of the way of a car going 1-3 MPH, should you really be trying to protect the person driving that car? Seriously. Come on.
