  1. Georger

Holy f**k @ the Fulham and Valencia games.

  2. yeah…i just peeped these scores on Soccernet. holy f**k indeed.

  3. Georger

Nice ruined counter attack by poor man’s Adebesi Sissoko there.

  4. Georger

    WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW DEMPSEY

  5. Georger

Seriously that is one of the better goals of the season. This game is nuts.

  6. And Werder makes it 4-4. one more goal and they win.

  7. OOSAH!!! OOSAH!!! OOSAH!!!

  8. Keith

    DEUCE FOR PRESIDENT!

  9. whizalen

is fulham really going to over turn a 3-1 deficit and beat juventus?

  10. Georger

Wow we suspended Riera. Good, f**k him.

Didi dropped the hammer on him, love that guy.

  11. I love that Rafa was called out by his own player. Notice no players have refuted Riera to this point.

  12. Georger

Well Didi certainly backed him up. Rafa may be an idiot, but Riera hasn’t justified a first team place in a long time.

I’m sick of Rafa but players coming out with s**t like this is never a good thing. Whatever, we’ll get three million pounds for him this summer.

  13. Keith

Sooooon oooooofff aaaaaa bitch. Of course. Stevie Me from the damned spot.

  14. Georger

Good call, Lucas caught the guys leg.

  15. Georger

Jesus Christ what a run from Space Coyote.

  16. Is Didi a current player? No…he’s not. Not a peep from his current charges.

  17. Georger

Well he’s a current employee, he’s about as close to a spot in the team as Riera was.

  18. Georger

I’m not supporting Benitez, but for him to say that after a big win and on the verge of a United game is ridiculously tacky.

  19. Oh…so a current employee that probably reports to Rafa is a good, unbiased source? I don’t think so. He even admits that Rafa is different.

  20. Georger

Actually he reports to the youth coaches.

Reina, who actually is an important player, signing his new deal today is a better indicator I would hope of how the players feel. Rafa makes some questionable personnel decisions, and that’s being generous, but benching Riera is not one of them.

  21. Georger

The ref has gotten two dribble out of bounds call wrong so far. Good work.

  22. Georger

Put it this way. If losing to Pompey and Wigan, getting bounced from every meaningful tournament in the early stages, and running off Alonso doesn’t get him fired, do you really think Riera throwing a hissy fit is going to do any good?

If Rafa is here to stay, God help us, scrubs making statements that make the club look bad are a bad thing. This team needs to bring players in, current players blasting the system doesn’t help that.

  23. Still, not an unbiased source that comes from the club management. A person that likely has designs on coaching in the future not wanting to burn a potential contact…nope…not biased one iota. Reina signing a new deal is great but a new deal that pays you more for more years isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement of the manager.

I am still waiting for the players to support Rafa.

  24. Georger

Well Riera has a mustache, he can’t really be trusted either.

  25. Georger

Man as bad as Riise was at defending at least he was one hell of an athlete. Fatty fat fat fat Emiliano is driving me nuts.

  26. Georger

We’ve replaced Lucas Leiva with a guy who doesn’t suck at soccer and drinks Colombian decaffeinated coffee crystals.

  27. dammit! Marseille already crapped out today to Benfica, we can’t lose Lille too.

  28. Georger

The rare zero stoppage time decision.

  29. Georger

    coyote el espacio!

  30. Georger

Hey Lille have a Toure too!

  31. Keith

But do they have a Traore?

/no, really, I don’t know. Since someone didn’t let us know all Traores

  32. Georger

    Nope. No Diarra either.

  33. Georger

Anderlecht/Hamburg is 5-5 agg as well. This round of Europa has been infinitely more entertaining than this round of the Champions League.

  34. Georger

    6-5 Hamburg now.

  35. Georger

3-0, you just can’t keep a good Space Coyote down.

  36. Joep

HSV went through two rounds in a row losing their second game but winning it on agg. thats pretty impressive in a way

  37. Georger

I didn’t realize Ruud wasn’t cup tied. Man I want to avoid them.

  38. Rich

I hope we didn’t blow our load and leave nothing left for ManU on Sunday. Great result, good to see the confidence a little bit again.

  39. cjdomer04

NYK, you happen to catch how Ben Arfa comes on in stoppage time then gets a red?

  40. Georger

33 goals in Europa action tonight.

  41. Georger

“Rafa Benitez is the manager and he is allowed to criticise the team”

EAT IT THAT COUNTS AS BACKING THE MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!!

    … kinda

  42. Georger

Kazan and Wolfsburg are in the second frame of extra time, Kazan just had a defender sent off.

  43. Georger

Wolfsburg score with a minute left, think I heard a “Juden” from the German announcer.

  44. Joep

hmm, that means no more Eastern european teams left in this competition. Theyve been very succesfull in it lately.

  45. Georger

I wonder if this is what Platini and co wanted. Lots of big teams still in it. A Valencia/Liverpool matchup would be phenomenal.

  46. Joep

if this is, in fact, what Platini and co wanted, which I believe it is, its working. its bringing more credibility to the tournament.

HSV, Benfica, Atletico, Liverpool, Valencia, Wolfsburg, Liege and Fullham.

Not bad at all, although Juve of course would have looked better, name-wise.
