Pictures Of The Day: The League One Finale

Ups and downs, tears of joy and tears of grief; It was an exciting day in League One as the race to join super Norwich in the Championship took many twists, with the coveted second place changing hands on 3 occasions with dirty Leeds, Charlton, Swindon and Millwall all contenders for promotion. At the other end, It was a similar deal to avoid the drop as Exeter, Gillingham, Tranmere, Leyton Orient and Hartlepool fans prayed.

Dear God, If Exeter stay up I promise to be good and help others.

Champions, Norwich City celebrate winning the League at Carrow Rd.

Dirty Leeds fans demonstrate their ability to read and obey the rules as the final whitle goes at Eland Road.

So Gillingham joined Wycombe, Southend and Stockport in League Two. Leeds joined Norwich in the Championship and Millwall, Swindon, Charlton and Huddersfield will fight it out in the play-offs.
