A rumor floated in front of us this morning that Steven Gerrard’s house was up for sale. Swift use of the internet put that to rest, but the question still remains: is this the house of an LFC player that’s on the market? (check the pictures of the rec room)
Our friend Ollie Irish says that word is it’s Jamie Carragher’s swanky pad, but we remain unconvinced.
UPDATE: After the jump the Google Maps streetview of the home noted above.
You may need to pan around to the other side of the street to see the home but it has a goal in the yard.

I like that there is a room with two drum sets and two pool tables. There’s nothing I enjoy more while shooting pool than listening to two people simultaneously play drums. And there’s nothing more musically inspiring than watching people play pool. This drumbilliard room will be a fixture in homes for years to come, I can feel it.
@Lennon — ironically, I have a drumbilliard room in my house. And yes, I do realize I am a trend setter, been one my whole life.
Here Let Me Google That For You…
A 2003 article in the Echo announcing the Blundell Sands home of Carragher.
Except that has seven bedrooms, and Blundellsands is a reasonable strip o’ land with several domiciles.
to quote “The Internet”:
Pics or it didn’t happen
If it was Stevie’s house, wouldn’t there be pictures of himself all over the place?
@Ryan:
There are. Link.
Don’t do it Jamie!
I figured out why Steven Gerrard needs two drumsets.
So he and Mike Tyson can play along with “In the Air Tonight”

Here’s the google maps of the same home. you can see a goal in the yard.

@James T: OK… how’s this?
A link to an article which states that Stevie G bought a mansion “from Robbie Fowler on a cul-de sac…on an estate with Henchoz…Carragher custom built house nearby”.
Here’s a Bing map of the address that my guess shows Gerrard’s house in the bottom right corner, Henchoz’s red brick just north of it, and Carragher’s at the top left and the one in the original article. Click on the aerial map instead of the bird’s eye and you can see Carragher’s manse in construction phase.
I don’t think that is Gerrard’s current home because these more recent stories show a much different setting and home than the one I think you are pointing to.

Also, the Gerrard home burglary a couple years ago was at his home in Formby which is about 8 miles to the north of Blundellsands.
Is this what you ‘Pool fans have been reduced to? Google Maps stalking your squad?
@Anonsters
If anyone outside of the Spurs faithful gave a toss about where Luka Modric rests his head, we’d certainly blog that instead ;)
@cuddlydogpicture: Yeah. So what of it? We’ll steal your dog if you have a problem with it.
TFA: I wouldn’t talk about stealing in a post about Liverpool homes. You’re only putting ideas in people’s heads, and let’s be honest, haven’t y’all had enough of that?
