In a farewell to Joseba Etxeberria after 15 years of service to the club, Athletic Bilbao held a charity match against 200 children.
Dubbed “The Impossible Match,” the game featured one hundred children for the first half, then making wholesale strategical changes at the break, a second hundred for the second half. They had a hard time keeping shape though and were beaten 5-3 despite their overwhelming numerical advantage.
Thus the 40-35-25 was born and died on the same day.

10 bucks says Rafa Benitez was coaching the kids

they have to be playing against their youth team or something because those Japanese kids are sick
Nice job by number 56 taking out one of the Japanese keepers. Also, on the transition, the flash the World Cup ball. Wonder if this was a related event.
I doubt they would with a Mizuno sponsored team
The linesman wanted to call offsides on several occasions, but damn if he could figure out which one was the “active” player.
The Kids woulda been fine if they had kept it small, and played, say, a 4-5-2
@Keith – not everyone is ready for my brilliance
