I don’t know what I like best–the tackle, the protestation or the improbable PK miss [Dirty Tackle]

Finally:
John Terry’s older brother upholding the family name down in the conference. You know–that same family name that produced the shoplifting mother, cocaine dealing father, teammate cuckolding EBJT. That one [ONTD_FB]

That’s not actually a penalty miss, the relevant portion of Law 14 states:
When a penalty kick is taken during the normal course of play, or time has been extended at half-time or full time to allow a penalty kick to be taken or retaken, a goal is awarded if, before passing between the goalposts and under the crossbar: the ball touches either or both of the goalposts and/or the crossbar and/or the goalkeeper.
Enjoy the evening.
Are you Dustin in disguise?
Andy Gray thinks that was a good, clean challenge.
I’m not sure I got what dexter said…are you implying that that was a goal?
Also I love the green players being annoyed that a penalty kick was called. I guess that’s how we’re going to train our children, to be absolutely blind and make society a little worse with every generation :P
@Dustin: I think he was implying it was a goal, which is clearly wrong on the rule’s own terms as he quoted them.
I feel really stupid for asking this, but it’s been bothering me. I must have missed the day you guys did this, but what does EBJT stand for?
“I think he was implying it was a goal, which is clearly wrong on the rule’s own terms as he quoted them.”
In his defense I had to read it a few times to figure out exactly what it was saying because some of the Laws are written in a really dumb way. I was just going “pfft that’s wrong” because I’ve never heard of it.
Philly is at best the third worst city on the East Coast. (Won’t name the two I think might be worse for fear of offending.)
But South Jersey >>> North Jersey

Just in case you were wondering if they were in fact English, the penalty miss clears the matter up nicely.
Also, I love that the parents are laughing their asses off. Contrast that to American sports parents, who would probably have rushed the field to kick some (little) ass.
