We are nearly there, the World Cup is but days away– next Saturday, you may or may not know that UF is having a big old party for the England v USA game. Well, that event is SOLD OUT, but if you are one of the lucky 100 coming, then here’s the deal:
Your names are on a list at the door of George Keeleys (485 Amsterdam Ave, NYC). At the door you will be given a bracelet to enjoy the open bar and handed a super UF t-shirt (S,M,L.XL) and raffle tickets. At half time, you will be asked to pull those tickets from whatever crevice you have hidden them in and we’ll be giving away some fantastic merchandise from one of our awesome sponsors, Calle. Prizes include Calle street footballs (awesome colors), t-shirts , a swanky back pack like THIS and other great stuff. Visit Calle here and check out their wares!
JT will be sending everyone attending a nice email on Monday. Open bar is 2-4.30 and Keeleys opens at 1. See you next weekend blog fiends!

I wish I could’ve made it to the pary.
@old dan
Ditto.
@both of you: Ditto.
I’ll be there. GET IN
Ditto for wishing I could have made it.
How many of you guys could actually benefit from a street football? Or are one of you guys just secretley Edward van Gils?
Anyone in DC have anything good planned? There’s a chance I’ll be stuck out of town, but not sure yet. Contemplating showing up at Lucky Bar at about 6:30 that morning, and just sitting there all day.
Have a great time, guys.
I’m going to be in downtown Minneapolis. Headed to Brit’s. Should be quite the scene, I think.
Not that I’m a regular commenter, but I’ll echo everyone else and say I wish I could be there. If anyone in Chicago is going to the Globe, I’ll be heading there around 11 that morning after class and plan on staying all day. I’ll be the one in the UF t-shirt and US scarf bad mouthing Bradley constantly.
I’ll definitely be around at The Globe. Reserved my spot yesterday.
I’ll be having a party at my house because i don’t live in a cool big city with the cool bars.
Phil: have fun. I’m a moron, and realized last night I forgot to reply to confirm my spot, and apparently they’re all full now. I’m hoping they can pull some strings and let me in, but more than likely I’ll just hit up one of my neighborhood bars that’s showing soccer for once. Won’t be quite as much fun, but at least it’ll be less crowded.
