As unprofessional rapscallions that we are, some mild form of kudos must be given to whiny, nasal, insane singer Macy Gray and her simple effort to capitalize on that soccer tournament in order to shift a couple more records.

WPS, take note, THAT is how you’d get more people to come to your games. HOLLA! (Oh, and my career would be on! Have you ever seen a woman try to run in shoes like that? It’s like Peggy Bundy’s waddle on speed).
But, a few things cannot be left unsaid (at least by me):
1. C.Ron’s cameo at 2:53 was Oscar-caliber
2. Were Bebe and FIFA with their J’ball-o-controversy sponsoring the damn video? WTF?
3. Absolutely nothing to do with soccer, but when did Macy Grey decide to leave her Erika Badu/Tracy Chapman roots and decide to go cavorting with these types of women on a pitch?
I was lost, and confused, but it did help me add some new shoes to my to-buy list. Thanks Macy.
