United opening with a promoted side at home for the 3rd time in the last 4 years, if I’m figuring correctly.

I believe they’ve already shown a red card to Coloccini for Newcastle as well.

PR: they’ve gone one better and scored the game already. Man U won 2-0 with two own goals.

Andy Gray thinks Own Goal would make a great summer signing for Wenger.

@PR: Oddly enough, so does Arsene Wenger.

And then when even Own Goal eschewed scoring for passing, Wenger would whine about Own Goal being kicked about and tackled roughly.

Rovers are going to get off to another miserable start unless they are ready to be Fortress Ewood right from the very beginning. But I like the Nov-Mar run of games, and I can see us building up a lot of momentum during that time and being safe long before the season winds down. Looking forward to buying my away jersey this year – I’ll have to decide between Jones, N’zonzi, and Kalinic based on how last season ended…
