With all bookies tipping Hodgson for the vacant spot at Anfield, word emerges this morning that Kenny Dalglish, the man entrusted with finding a new Liverpool boss, has held talks with ex-Real Madrid boss Manuel Pellegrini. Plenty of observers — including Paul Tomkins and SI.com’s Jen Chang — like Pellegrini, the man who produced a Real club record 96 points last season despite narrowly finishing out of the trophies. His continental style brings with it a fondness for attacking, expansive football, and perhaps a more liberal approach than that of the current Fulham coach.
Hodgson’s still favorite, it seems, but Dalglish is doing due diligence in the meantime. Said Roy on the rumors: “I’m happy at Fulham. It is all speculation and I can’t enlighten you. I don’t know any more than you do.”
Yeah, it’s totally gonna be Hodgson.

Pellegrini makes Bob Bradley look like embodiment of charisma. Have you seen his press conferences? He always looks like he just came out of a coma.
You either have Pellegrini or Bradley confused with someone else because that statement is flat out wrong. Thanks for playing tho
