A family divided.
It was mentioned during today’s Germany-Ghana Liveblog but here’s a picture of the Boateng Brother Battle Royale. Kevin Prince Boateng, a striker for Ghana, took the pitch against his half-brother Jerome Boateng, a defender for Germany, to mark the first time brothers have taken the field as opponents in a World Cup match. A remarkable feat.

I read up about this and I think it’s a really interesting story. It does suck though that they apparently aren’t talking to one another. But yeah. Interesting stuff.
