Soccernet contributor Daniel Cho suddenly passed away one week ago. This was news to us.
Daniel Cho’s primary source of income was as a musician, but his real passion was football. Cho jumpstarted a writing career by interviewing Korean players and managers. He was a contributor for Soccernet during this World Cup blogging about his South Korean team.
Cho died in a swimming accident in Switzerland on July 6. He was touring Europe with Regina Spektor. He left behind a wife and infant daughter.
