That Was Quick

Diego Maragonna is hardly out the door and Argentina are already in talks with his would-be successor.

Alejandro Sabella is currently discussing terms to become the new Argentina national team manager. The 59 year-old is currently the gaffer of Estudiantes in Buenos Aires where he has only been in charge since last March.

Sabella’s phone bill to the AFA must be quite large, as he was in England today for his team’s friendly against Sheffield United this Sunday– Sabella played for the Blades in the late 70s.
