France faced off against Spain in the finals of the UEFA Euro Under-19 Championship and came away victorious.
Claiming their second Under-19 title (the first was in 2004/2005), Les Bleuets had to come from behind to take the victory in what is quickly becoming a rivalry at all levels of international football.
With a line-up featuring players from Arsenal, Chelsea, Lyon and PSG, the French were matched up against a Spanish side that did this while featuring players from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool.
Spain got off to the better start, getting a goal from Rodrigo in the 18th minute, and France struggled for most of the first half to get any pressure going forward. The equalizer arrived almost immediately after the restart, with Arsenal starlet Gilles Sunu finding the back of the net in the 49th minute. The match-winner came in the 85th minute after some good work from Gael Kakuta found Alexandre Lacazette alone at the far post after an initial save from Spain netminder Alex.
Poor Ezequiel Calventa – nothing to show for his cheekiness.

How long until these guys catch the same disease that destroyed the senior team?
Padres just got Ryan Ludwick GET IN. Off to go see them beat the Marlins.
Also I much prefer this commentary.

@JT – I am not amused, sir!
@Tno – me too, but I didn’t think anyone would watch all 9 minutes of it
