Unprofessional Foulcast 8/19/10: Week 1 Of The EPL

Remember when they were happy?

Yes, I did record the intro of this podcast at a Starbucks? What’s it to ya?

In this episode, Moonshine Mike, NY Kid, James T and I discuss the games of the first week of the EPL season and look ahead to Week 2.

Basically, aside from a couple of the games, this is a good weekend to go outside and do something. Of course, you’ll spend the entire time refreshing UF.com because we need the pageviews, right. RIGHT?!

Basically, we’ve all drunk the Kool-Aid for our teams. James T thinks Liverpool is awesome and has heart, NYK thinks Arsenal got their one bad game out of the way and still got a point at Anfield, Moonshine Mike thinks Almunia is an idiot but Arsenal is good and I think Manchester United is the best team ever.

Of course, I’m the only one who’s right. And shut it, Autoglass.

Anyway, we’re attempting to make the podcast more regular. So we’re giving it more fiber and recording it for posting each Thursday morning. We hope you join along with us, and let’s get ready for Week 2 of this madness!

I know you’ve posted it before, but I can’t find where. What’s the best way to get the foulcast on iTunes?

    Thanks!

  2. @Chad: much to our dismay it’s not on iTunes. apple sent us an email saying it would be included but that was over a month ago and i still can’t find it.

  3. @Chris: You can ask the rest of the UF guys. The iTunes thing is a major pain in my arse. HOWEVUH… You can add to your iTunes feeds even without the store. Just use these instructions:
If you want us in your iTunes, do the following:

    1. Open iTunes
    2. Click on “Advanced” in the top menu
    3. Click on “Subscribe to podcast”
    4. Insert this URL into the dialog box: http://unprofessionalfoul.com/category/podcast/feed/
    5. It should work out.

  4. Did I write Chris?! Cripes. I meant Chad. FAIL.

Thanks guys. Those instructions from TSE were what I was looking for and failing to find. Much appreciated.

  7. “I don’t think Rodallega is finding Jesus this week.” – Amazing.

BUT BUT BUT – You guys can’t read the NCNB Fantasy Preview like you like read an SAT Reading Comprehension section – by skimming the title only – you need to read the entire CONTENT – the juice:

From our preview last week: “You need / must own a Chelsea player on opening day. Lampard and Drogba are the best bets but Kalou, Essien, and Malouda are also players who I highly recommend, as long as they continue to hold down starting positions.”

@ JT: Listening to the podcast now and you mentioned Arsene wouldn’t bow to pressure by taking Schwarzer as he hasn’t done that in the past. What about the Sol Campbell retread last year? Bit of a desperation buy there wasn’t it?
