Rafik Halliche to Fulham

"I think I saw Heskey over there."

Not a bad deal, actually: Mark Hughes has captured Algeria/Benfica defender Rafik Halliche to fill out his backline, signing him to a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee (though we’ll guess it’s somewhere around £1.3m).

If you recall, Halliche was part of that five-man rearguard that stuffed and stymied Wayne Rooney and co in South Africa, so he’ll be a nice fit on the left flank for the Cottagers.

  1. Outside Mid

Could be a useful little player @ the Cottage, had a decent WC along with the rest of an Algerian team many expected to be run over in that group.

  2. well you cant complain about any international player for 1.3mil, I reckon he’ll prove to be a good signing.
