    Sadly, that is such an inaccurate portrayal of Gooners that it makes it all so unrealistic. Gooners are never that reasonable.

  2. Tno

    Patrice Evra to appeal ban… Wait what?(!)

    @Anon
    I want to hear the argument of a BAR passer. (Unless we were were confused and you were studying for a class on WWII assault rifles this whole time)

  3. Tno

    ^^ Argument supporting Patrice Evra to be more specific.

  4. Anonsters

    @Tno: Ask one of the practicing lawyers, then. I won’t find out if I passed the bar until October. :P

    @Anon
    The guy from “Catch Me if You Can” did it, soooo…

    What do you do till then? Juss hang out?

  6. Ryan

    The CONCACAF Champions League is a joke. That is all.

  7. James T

    Yep. I still love Elizabeth Lambert.

  8. Keith

    @JT: I’m right there with you. Hell, either of our clubs could use her as a midfield enforcer.

  9. James T

    Affirmed, Keith. She’s that good.

    And for anyone who missed the initial Lambert action, or who just wishes to remember it anew, voila

  10. @Ryan: are you referring to the Crew game?

  11. And the 93rd minute goal?

  12. I actually went to bed at halftime confident that the ref was going to screw us (more).

  13. Outside Mid

    Elizabeth Lambert = Wilson Palacios’ replacement–sign her now Mr. Levy!

  14. Outside Mid

    @ JT: That worst Liverpool list: I’m sure you remember all those guys painfully, but some of these names are only familiar to me b/c of other clubs they’ve played for. When were some of those guys around and are they the 10 worst?

  15. James T

    @OutsideMid
    It’s a pretty damn solid list. Most of those guys came and went in the early 00s and late 90s. Think Diouf is a harsh addition at #8, but I won’t complain. Would add Josemi and Erik Meijer to that list if I could.

  16. Shouldn’t Aqualani be on that list?

  17. James T

    @LE
    Too soon

  18. Ryan

    @Goat: Well, partially. I went to bed before the Crew game started, so I haven’t seen the “highlights” yet. I did watch the Toronto-Arabe match though, and that referee was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Combine his performance with what evidently took place in Mexico last night, and it’s an even bigger joke.

  19. I like how Agger is apparently too concussed to travel tomorrow, but they let him play on Monday against medical advice.

  20. Outside Mid

    @ JT: Ah, Josemi, I do remember his pants-ness. And Diouf could be a bit harsh b/c after all, Pele thinks he’s the greatest thing to come out of Senegal since Patrice Evra.
