Laudrup: 33 goals for the 'Gers
Sad news out of Denmark this morning: Danish legend Brian Laudrup has been diagnosed with cancer. According to reports, the former Bayern Munich/Milan/Rangers/Ajax striker has a “mild case of lymphoma” and will begin treatment immediately.
Laudrup’s “shocked by the news”, but promises to continue his current gig commentating on Champions League games for Danish TV while undergoing treatment. Doctors are “optimistic” given the early stage of the disease when discovered.
