Saturday Bootroom: Ginger God Edition

See that PFA trophy? I want that at the end of the season. Huzzah!

HOORAY!!!! Finally things are back where they should be. The world has returned to a natural order. The sun is in the sky, the birds are chirping and the pancakes taste extra good. Not because we finally get real football today.

It’s because Paul Scholes won the Player of the Month award, of course.

This means he’s a shoo-in for the PFA player of the year honor, doesn’t it? Well, even if it doesn’t, it’s damn good to have our beloved football back on the tubes. Join us after the jump, won’t you?

The Ginger God leads my beloved Manchester United to Goodison Park to meet Everton. It’s the early game, but it’s on Fox Soccer Plus because it was moved from Sunday and ESPN and Fox kept the games they’d been promoting. Or something like that. Anyway, it should be fun to watch to see if the Everton fans throw condoms or hooker flyers or thousand pound notes at Wayne Rooney.

There are lots of good games this weekend, really. Or maybe the bar is just set so low by the interlull that anything sounds good.

One note: I will be at the L.A. Galaxy-Columbus Crew match at 10:30 p.m. EDT, but it’s only on the MLS Direct Kick package (or by those other means).

Here’s the full list of TV and streaming options. Find other means at your peril. I mean, there are 27 games that will be on some primary outlet today. Twenty-freakin’-seven. I love technology. Anyway, enjoy!
