Saturday Bootroom: Hangover Edition

This isn't a real UFer, but it very well could have been.

It’s another week in professional soccer, and things are starting to shake out in most of the major leagues. Meanwhile, most of the UF crew is likely recovering from an unhealthy enjoyment of adult beverages.

While Precious Roy is in Vegas, The Fan’s Attic is in New York, where he, Spectator and Norfolk Ned apparently threw back a few. We all know James T had a pint or six wherever he is, ¬†and NY Kid was enjoying $1 Rum and Cokes.

I believe Moonshine Mike actually has beer in his veins, not blood, but his silence, along with Mountain Wag, Jacob, Autoglass, Sven and ian mean they either had fun, had a “good time” or had a good night’s sleep. (I was apparently so buzzed when I wrote this last night that I didn’t update the post to include complete sentences.)

Meanwhile, I’m writing this after killing a six-pack of Hangar 24 Craft Brew Alt-Bier and a couple tugs of stuff in the liquor cabinet. However, I know the chosen people are abstaining, so I’m sure The Likely Lad will be up bright and early this morning.

Thank goodness the early game is worth DVRing instead of waking up. Find out about the schedule after the jump.

There are a lot of games on again this weekend, with West Ham v. Stoke as the early match. Here’s the full list. Comment safely, and let’s break the 1,600 barrier! Also, I will NOT be at the Galaxy-D.C. United, as a paid gig is interfering with my unpaid blogging. Sorry. Enjoy your Concaves and coffee!
