The van Persie link is worth clicking on for the comments alone.
You like comments about crying ovaries?
Why does the judge want to make Fat Sepp cry?
I don’t know if this qualifies as a joke or not, but I swear I saw Baby JWAF and Baby Denilson in those pics.
@Anon–that’s why we’ll never see the WC in 2022.
@Jacob:
Comedy gold.
Also, I feel like this is relevant to all you damned alcoholics.
According to Castrol Marcus Hahneman was better than Xavi last year. Suck it!!!
Rooney at 4? Okay then.
I do like how there’s no one from Mexico in the CONCACAF top 5 though.
didn’t Hahnemann have the best saves per game ratio? s**t team, but he’s definitely a big part of them not getting relegated. I wonder what happens with those 2 Ghana goals if a fit Hahneman or Guzan was there rather than a partially hurt Howard. Plus, he was the heaviest player at the worldcup! That means he’s topped two lists this year
Crushing a pint of vodka in four seconds is impressive, regardless of the result
@Ryan–EPL players only. Which means that Vela was the only Mexican choice.
@Jacob: Gio at Spurs, Barrera at West Ham, Wee Pea at United.
Salcido’s now with Fulham, but a new signing.
Also, how the f**k is Frank Lampard still in the mix? He hasn’t played for close to a month!
So, does Don King have a suit against USSF too after that Congo v Brazil match in LA got turned down?/Reverse Rumble in the Jungle’d
@ Ryan: Two Saints @ Spurs likely hasn’t played enough to warrant any points–that’s how those rankings work right?/no clue, usually don’t care about the Castrol, am a Pennzoil Man
Another odd thing about those rankings, though–3 American keepers ranked in top 5 of CONCACAF. So, just about the whole region of outfield players lags behind Ryan Nelsen.
Anonsters just outed herself:

@Goat
She was great in Boardwalk Empire
@Ryan-Pretty sure the rankings come heavily, if not exclusively from last season. Gio was in Turkey, Chichi and Barrera were in Mexico. Therefore, you get Vela.
@Ü75
21 – David Silva (Manchester City; Spain)
@ TNO: Looking at the Castrol description of their rankings, it’s a rolling twelve month cycle of stats. It takes into consideration play in the top 5 leagues (England, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain) in Europe and ranks those players. When you tab their full rankings and go to England, they list Silva in England as that is his current league. It does show, however, he’s dropped in his ranking by 2 spots since his foray into English football.
And Two Saints is being reported as a “New Entry” likely due to what umlaut referenced about his 2009-2010 Turkish Delight.
Best ranked English XI:
W. Rooney FORWARD
F. Lampard MIDFIELDER
J. Defoe FORWARD
J. Terry DEFENDER
P. Scholes MIDFIELDER
J. Hart GOALKEEPER
A. Cole DEFENDER
J. Milner MIDFIELDER
G. Johnson DEFENDER
M. Carrick MIDFIELDER
M. Taylor MIDFIELDER
So, England’s currently best performing XI per Castrol would line up as a 3-4-3.
Sorry, numbers wrong, 3-5-2
Tno–While I have little defense for dropping Turkey, I would imagine that it would be very tough to rank an insular league like Mexico.
Vela highest ranking Mexican in the Prem @ 1611, followed by Barrera, Sweet Pea, and Two Saints, all three listed as new entries.
