Everyone around here knows how I feel about Ryan Giggs. It’s a little twisted, frankly. I considered naming my dog Giggsy, for god’s sake, but it really didn’t fit my Jack Russell Terrier, so Rooney won out.
I’m not the only one who loves the Manchester United stalwart. We all know how Wes Brown feels about him. And the Welsh FA.
Now, Sir Alex Ferguson is pushing for Giggs to be knighted. I can just imagine the pregame routine…
“Morning, Sir Ryan.”
“And to you, Sir Alex.”
“Thanks a lot, Sir Ryan.”
“Very welcome, Sir Alex. How’s the gameplan for today looking Sir Alex?”

In the end, I think it’ll probably happen, but not while Giggs is playing. However, Sir Alex makes a decent pitch:

I do love how Fergie makes it all about himself. Typical.
Anyway, I hope Giggs gets it. Of course I do. It would be AWESOME. You may now flame me in the comments.
Frankly, it seems if you are going to give the title to Fergie, it doesn’t seem that odd to give it to Giggs who does have myriad of awards from soccer. That said, wipe the jizz off your mouth now TSE.
