In the Pies link, I don’t know about Carew being dirty necessarily, I’d probably bet a bunch of his fouls are for backing into people and stuff. I remember Benjani always used to be up there in the fouls committed category for the same reason .
He employed a 4-6-0. A f**king 4-6-0. I know nothing of Chichester but I doubt even they deserve that.
I <3 the little explanatory cartoon in the Daily Mirror. And the Sven headline. Reminds me of one of the Confucius jokes I know: Confucius say, "Man who go through airport turnstile sideways going to Bangkok."
@Berg: Chichester was in Thursday’s Backpasses for firing a manager during the game by calling his cell phone.
Then it’s a match made in heaven.
@Jacob: Even though I wasn’t high on Levein when he was hired, he’s not Burely, and therefore deserves time to do a job. I pegged John Collins for the gig when it was clear Burley was finally on his way out. (About the time Aaron Ramsey put Caldwell and McManus in his pocket and carried them on a tour of Wales, for those not in the know.)
