Here’s your weekly fantasy footie advice from the NCNB team.
GAMEWEEK 15 FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TOP 3 PREDICTED PERFORMERS:
Mikel Arteta:
West Brom are in poor form so Everton should score some goals at home. At the heart of all they do well is the Spanish creator Arteta. Play him with confidence or go with his teammates Tim Cahill, Leighton Baines, or Louis Saha. They should pick up some points against the Baggies. Odemwingie is the main threat for West Brom if you think they can pick up a shock road win. It’s doubtful though, so go with Arteta.
Wayne Rooney: He’s not fully fit, he’s not in form, but he’s playing Blackburn at home. Your rivals won’t have him as he’s just returned from injury, but he’s on penalty duty and United should score 2-3 goals at Old Trafford. Nani is your in-form alternative but don’t be surprised if Wazza comes back to life with a solid performance in a home win. You’ll be laughing all the way to the bank if you brought him in early.
Didier Drogba: Hasn’t scored a goal since the George Bush administration. Suffering from malaria. Without Essien and Terry to solidify the defense and midfield. Who cares. He’s Didier Drogba and he’ll score against Newcastle. I bet you a ziploc bag filled with leftover stuffing that if Chelsea score at St James Park, Drogba is involved. Malouda, Anelka, and/or Kalou are your cheaper options.
Who’s Hot:
Carlos Tevez
The caveman is more essential from a fantasy perspective than even Drogba. Stoke are tough at home but City should win a close one 2-0 or 2-1. Tevez, as usual, will be involved. He’s looking more and more like a must own as each week passes.
Who’s Not:
Cesc Fabregas.
50 games a year since the age of 18 finally catching up to him. Second or third hamstring injury this season sidelines him for 2-3 weeks. Turning into a regular Van Persie, the Arsenal captain will soon be spending all his time on the sidelines.
You know what that means? Nasri will become the new Cesc. Nasri club captain by 2012. Book it.

re:Chamahk and RvP
Who starts? What’s goin on there?
@ TNO: Who knows, but Chamakh’s been scoring lately, so I hope he’s still on over RvP. And Tevez getting hot? Great, dropped him after his extended South American vacation. Don’t think I can afford him now.
Speaking of United-Blackburn, I saw That’s on Point link to these highlights this morning.
Featuring a Bentley hat trick, and some absolute comedy defending from United. Lovely.
Thanks, Ryan, that made my afternoon!
