There's Sepp again, barging in on greatness
Sepp Blatter was Shocked! Shocked! to find out the was corruption inside of FIFA’s handling of the World Cup voting process. What does a man in Sepp’s position do? Well first, he’s forced to suspend the members caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
Then, in an effort to “look like FIFA cares”, they are announcing a new committee that will focus on rooting out corruption. In a toss off to seem “independent,” Sepp will not be part of the committee.
None of us are surprised that Sepp has tried to set up this up; it’s the obvious, media-friendly Band Aid slapped over a gaping, gangrenous wound. However, we’re not convinced he actually gives a rat’s ass about corruption or in making FIFA a transparent organization. This is all about cleaning up the Blatter Legacy, and making sure that the bust of Blatter will sit proudly in Switzerland fore’er more. For all we know, the only rule the two caught members broke in Sepp’s mind was most likely “don’t get caught.” He’s convinced he’s trying to change the way Soccer/Football is viewed in the world, and he is the going to be the man responsible for opening up the sport to the world.
We’ll wait on how well this committee will be able to perform, or if they will be handcuffed in how they can proceed. We’ll also wait to see who fills these seats and how they will use the position. Good Luck, but Sepp will make sure nothing too horrific will be brought to light.
Good thing he took care of this before the only important decisions FIFA had to make for the next 15 years or so… Oh wait.

the only thing that would have made this better? if sepp called it a “blue ribbon” committee.
With people like this calling the shots it’s no wonder I’m terrified beyond the capacity for reasonable thought.

It’s kind of amusing to me how Sepp is portrayed in the media. One might think that he being the head of FIFA controls it with an iron fist and that FIFA is working hard on abducting children and selling them into slavery. Just seems like some people over react.
However the amount of sarcasm hurled towards Sepp and FIFA might actually harm them so lets keep it up.
Is this the same as the other anti-corruption committees they’ve had in the last 20 years that don’t do anything other than come out with a report that says “Nope, not corrupt. Thanks for the Jet and the blonde.”
