West Brom Sends Roberto Di Matteo Packing

The fourth manager in the EPL was cut loose this weekend, with West Brom dispatching Roberto Di Matteo. West Brom has not been doing particularly well of late, winning only twice since December (hey, they lost to Ipswich also!).

Losing is not always the reason for receiving the axe, but not getting your squad motivated to play and play hard? That’s the kiss of death to any fan, and after their limp performance against Manchester City, the team’s management had little choice. We’re hoping that West Brom can find someone who can help keep them above relegation as we love the little guys as they can always surprise. But Di Matteo, don’t act surprised that you got the axe, okay?

“Roberto was a victim!” from the lamest union boss out there. The only problem is–how will WBA find a more stylish manager to replace him? I mean, who’s available with those eyebrows?

I don’t think it was the City match that did him in. Think the Wigan result probably had more to do with it.
Impressed at the line of retreads lining up for the job though.
