Um If the winner of the FA Cup has already earned a Europa League or higher spot, the place goes to the FA Cup runner up, if both participants in the final are in Europe already then the 6th or 7th place in the league gets the spot depending on the Carling Cup, so only top 5 this year will get into Europe this year

@MightyMighty – Summer player FIRE SALE! i’ll make invites. Then, all the bottom half clubs can recruit cheaply, bring out the best in the players, and sell them for a premium to Citeh, Inter, and the like. They’ve run their course in N. London. Even Wenger seems fed up with them (which is a hell of a sign).
@MW: That’s how I have it playing out. But for realsies, Denilson, Arshavin, Rosicky, Bendtner, Almunia, Squillaci are all gone — or should be. Perhaps Squillaci stays on in what I’ll now refer to as the “Silvestre” role. Everyone else stays. We bring in another DM, another center-half, a world class keeper.
@MMDR – I wouldn’t sell Arshavin yet. Not for the $ we spent last year. He had a great season last year, while RvP was always out, and he really hasn’t been on that much. When he is, he’s hot or cold. Never luke warm. If you want men to stay hot, you can’t keep them on the sidelines all the time. That’s my motto. The rest can go. And Squillaci, though that might be a record for the shortest time for a player at #AFC? Poor guy.
