When I was 12 I played in a baseball tournament in Ecuador… The other teams were not 12. You also had to be under 5’10″ to play and under 5’9″ to pitch. The Ecuadorian pitcher was 6’3″, and they told one of our kids who flew all that was that they couldn’t play. Didn’t really matter though The Dominicans won anyways.

Wonder if the team will do what Nigeria did a few years ago, when they withdrew from the U-20 World Cup after they announced players would undergo bone scans to determine their actual age.

Seeing as they open with Mexico tonight, I see absolutely nothing out of the ordinary here. Everything looks to be in order.
