Also, after seeing Man U-Barca in person Saturday, a) I finally get it with regards to Rooney. I knew he was a class player before, but I didn’t REALLY know it until I watched him play. b) Tom Cleverly looks the business for your lot. c) As weird as it was at first seeing Ashley Young in red, it really isn’t. He was supposed to make that move, and while it’s going to take a second for him to learn to not expect the ball over the top every time, he didn’t look out of place at all. Finally, d) this season is going to be the major breakout season for Fabio da Silva. Kid was everywhere, making important last-ditch tackles and generally keeping Abidal and Pedro out of the match.
