    Come on you Scousers!

  2. Wacman

@Tno, He IS a self important douche-nozzle. That said, he’s still an amazing player (who cries like Ronaldo at any little bit of contact)
    .
    Is Jones playing CM???

  3. bergkampesdios

How in the world do you justify Evra as captain after South Africa?

  4. dan

I’m the owner of Liverpool, and Manchester United is the only team I’ve ever heard of!

  5. Wacman

Both teams need to calm the eff down… missing 5 yard passes like Aaron Ramsey out there

  6. Wacman

I thought Evans was the rapist… Ferdinand was all over that bitch’s back like his name was Jonny

  7. Wacman

You know how everyone hates when players ask for cards? I love it when it’s for diving.

  8. dan

I hate when people ask for cards, AND I hate when people dive.

  9. Orr

SAF saying this is the most important game of the season is a bit of a slap in the face to City, no?

  10. Wacman

@dan, But which do you hate more? Like, if you go into a challenge and then pull out and someone falls anyway, you can either try to fight them like Barton, or you can go to the ref. Eh, you’re right… Going to the ref is a bitch move…

  11. @berg – I don’t, but I’m not a knight

  12. Reasonable Doubt

    C’moooooon meteor!

  13. dan

Try to fight like Barton? You mean grab your face and pretend they hit you?
    .
I do hate the diving more. I figure — indicate once to the ref that it was a dive, then drop it. Then hope the ref’s keeping a closer eye on dives, or give the guy a reason to go down next time.

  14. Wacman

Rio, how does it feel to get Garrincha’d?

  15. Orr

Rio is going to haul off and punch Suarez

  16. Orr

Good first half hour for Liverpool, but no shots. They really need to be testing de Gea

  17. Wacman

Stevie G looks like Jamie C… ready to be taken out back and put out of his misery…

  18. Wacman

Anyone see how unnatural Fletcher looked when he took that shot? That’s how Torres has looked for like, 2 or 3 years now

  19. Orr

We’ll all be right back here next week for Wolves-Swansea right?

  20. Orr

SAF playing the rope-a-dope perhaps? Rooney, Nani, or Hernandez coming at half or much later?

  21. Watching this one on a 60 inch DLP tv, I’m just jizzing myself constantly it is such a beautiful picture

  22. dan

@Brian – This is the sort of game that really makes me hope ESPN wins the TV coverage deal (at least until FSC HD becomes available).

  23. Orr

@Brian – That sounds like it might get painful after a while

  24. Orr

Evra making up for Nani’s benching with some serious twattery

  25. @Orr, probably, but after having to deal with non-hd channels at school it is nice to get this picture. I’ll take the pain

  26. Orr

Damn campus cable, we didn’t even get cartoon network!

  27. Wacman

Hey Charlie, there’s no pool there… Nice Wayne Rooney impression though

  28. dan

    Rio caught his foot.

  29. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEVIE G!!!!!!!!

  30. Aren’t walls supposed to be solid objects?

  31. Wacman

@dan, Rio got his shoelace lol

  32. @Brian: not the maginot ones that Evra is in.

  33. Orr

Giggs isn’t even faithful to the wall

  34. dan

@Wac Might’ve been soft, but there was definitely contact there.

  35. dan

@Orr – I may have just stolen that line

  36. Wacman

@dan, I just can’t take a player seriously when he gets “kicked” on his left foot, takes a step on his right foot, and then falls over. I’ll never accept that as anything other than a dive. It’s not about contact, it’s about if Rio actually impeded his ability to run, and there’s no way he did there

  37. Orr

@dan – All yours! I’ve had jokes I’ve worked harder on stolen from me before.

  38. dan

@Wac you see that last replay they just showed? None of what you just described happened. Stepped on his back foot, went down immediately. Soft? Sure. Foul? Yes.

  39. I can’t decide what irritates me more about Suarez, his hair or his face

  40. what cross! great save by De Gea.

  41. get the ball off your foot kuyt! how did they not get a shot off there?

  42. Orr

Don’t like Inzaghi? Try the Mexican version: Chicharito!

  43. dan

Moot point, but can you be offside on a deflection like that?

  44. Orr

    @Dan – I think it’s because it came off a ‘Pool player

  45. @Dan, yes because anytime an offensive player touches the ball it resets when you have to determine if a player is offside.

  46. dan

Makes sense. I think I’m too sober to think right now.

  47. Orr

So close from Henderson! Great from de Gea

  48. come on, where’s the one frango per game by De Gea? too many good saves.

  49. Wacman

@Dan, I’ll have to see it again

  50. Orr

Henderson with an even better chance to be the hero

  51. Orr

Well crap. Really think LFC deserved the full 3 today.

  52. Great game. Liverpool dominated but United fought back. De Gea saved the day for United too.

  53. Wacman

@dan, He gets raked on his ankle (more contact than I thought) takes a step, and then simultaneously falls over. I’ll change it from dive to embellishment, and say it was super soft

  54. Wacman

Tough ban? Alan Pardew is stoooooooopid

  55. Wacman

So apparently, Balotelli chased a ball out of play near the Villa fans and slipped, They jeered him, so he then shushed them. He got the ball back 20 secs later. They jeered him again, so he curled it onto the far post and forced Given to make a great save. He then glared at them. Fucking awesome.

  56. Wacman

And then he scores a bicycle kick and glares at them again… NEW FAVORITE PLAYER!!!

  57. Orr

    Balotelli is a beast

  58. dan

Balotelli’s goal (for however long this stays up):

  59. Orr

Catania up 2-1 on Inter. Nelson Muntz laugh.

  60. I’m back from sleeping. Now I need to go to work.

  61. Orr

I feel you TFA, I’m grading tests. But at least Inter lost!

  62. Orr

    Oh Cassano! Must score

  63. Ellis Carver

Titi sent off for a Tiger Knee at a KC defender. H

  64. Ellis Carver

I just watched the play. Some will argue that was harsh but I agree with the ref that the foul was an act of retaliation.

  65. Ryan

I agree, I can definitely see the referee’s line of thinking there.
