I’m attempting to clean out the GBWTF closet today, so the post will be extra random today. Let’s get things started in League 1:
This is a lovely AFC Bournemouth away kit from the early 90s. I have no idea what they were going for, but it doesn’t work. At least there’s no sponsor logo mucking up that seizure-inducing pattern. It kinda reminds me of the pic below, where El Pibe Valderrama totally got his junk handled in La Liga:
Valderrama only played one season for Real Valladolid, and didn’t have much of an impact. Perhaps this incident led him to return to Colombia.
Don’t get whiplash as we shoot down to the province of Entre Rios in Argentina to check out this Patronato shirt. This is clearly a case of the club’s business manager putting all his eggs in the shirt sponsor basket. You gotta diversify your revenue streams, man! I count eight sponsor logos, and that’s just on the front. There’s probably four more on the back.
Enjoy some footie this weekend, whether it’s in person or on TV, and try to stay out of trouble.

That Valderrama pic is priceless. At the moment the shot was taken it looks like he was still deciding how to react.
